A friend of mine recently introduced me to Suno to make AI music. I hadn’t had a chance to use it until the other day.
I was feeling pretty down… thinking about my partner of 18 years who died October 12, 2022. Though it is going on four years since he’s been gone, I still have my days.
It was then I thought to give this AI music creator a whirl.
Using the words below, AI created a song that really hit the heart of the matter and I had myself a good cry.
Sad, melancholy sound about missing a dead loved one, many unanswered questions, unresolved issues, unsaid words, sudden loss in death, the what-if, the lonliness, the fear of an unknown betrayal with a friend, abandonment, screaming into the void with no reply, crying, broken inside, no light, crushing pain
The song in this post is the result. I must say, it really captured how I was feeling and I had a good, long cathartic cry.
(I also used AI to create the song cover art for it – see above) and an extra image as a variation.
AI is amazing, but in being so, is terrifying.
